Dreams at night

I dream a lot , in color and they are quite involving. I have met people that I never knew , had dreams where I’m with my Dad who has been with the Lord for number of years.

The bible talks about visions and dreams. And GOD used dreams from time to time, but I was always confused about them. Sometimes the dreams were deeply entangled with my present life and so I wanted to find out about this dream stuff.

I asked wise men but didn’t really get much of an answer.

Then I read a response from a missionary who was struggling over this very thing. GOD said to her not worry over those things that are not. That his strength and grace are for those things that are, not for that which may never be.

What a truth it was  for me . Our Heavenly Father is not a GOD of confusion . But of peace and order.

 Wasn’t it Ben Franklin that said “Oh the fears we have had that have never come to be.”

And all through the bible hasn’t it been GOD who said be not afraid for it is I who goes before you.

Satan is the author of fear and confusion if your dreams are either of the two. Turn to GOD by prayer or reading his word or singing a Christian song of love to GOD and that bugger butt satan will flee.

Yet GOD may choose to use a dream, but if he does it will never contradict what he has said in the bible and with it will comes his spirit of being right not confusing or fearful. Check it out with GOD spirited counselors .

The last few days after we busted MOM out of the hospital with heart problems , AnneBeth and I took mom to Grants pass Oregon it was a beautiful trip with green hilly meadows and new lambs following their mothers.

 Here and there were bright yellow  daffodils and yellow forsythia .

We visited my niece who has 3 beautiful children and I was moved by the parallel peace I saw in the lambs and the small children who just follow their noses and do whatever fits their fancy for the moment.

They lived fearless as they openly accepted and trusted  their parents.

GOD too is saying to us older more ornery sheep, be as little children come unto me and find peace and rest for every part of who you are.  Drink deep at my pools that truly satisfy.
